The Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) Program offers new challenges to more than just companies in the chemical industry. Universities and many other industrial facilities will have to comply with these new standards for securing the chemicals that pose a potential risk to those both on and off the facility.

The CFATS Process...

While many other companies jump on the compliance Band Wagon, Executive Interface continues to provide SME through experience in assisting DHS to implement the SVA and SSP approval process.  We offer a unique position of having subject matter expertise on this new risk management process.  Couple this knowledge with our other experience in national-level programs and we are confident that you will agree with our current clients that we are the right consulting firm to help you manage your chemical security program. We can provide consulting on the following CFATS requirements

  • TopScreen.  This process allows DHS to analyze the consequences your facility poses to the community.

  • SVA's:  This is the process that analyzes the current risk of your chemicals of interest being exploited during a terrorist attack.

  • SSP's: This process requires you to explain how you intend to manage your risk in accordance with the established Risk-Based Performance Standards.

  • Chemical Vulnerability Information (CVI) handling and management.

Call us today for assistance with managing the risk to your chemical resources.  We can help you leverage existing security plans and measures as well as explore the possibility of using an Alternative Security Plan (ASP).
